Chi Ife is a theatrical producer, lyricist, songwriter, performing artist and arts administrator. In addition to her work with individual artists and organizations, Chi Ife produces her own personal artistic projects annually. Chi Ife was a contributing songwriter for The Youth Ensemble of Atlanta as a young actress and as the Management Associate for the company. Okwumabua has written songs for productions such as Jeremy and the Lie and YEA’s heavily performed tour show War is on the Streets. Okwumabua has also written songs for the produciton No Regrets, and her original musical revue, The Maestro. She also was the lead songwriter and co-writer for two original productions Luminosity and !?Cinderella?!, which were produced at Georgia State University. Chi Ife is also a teaching artist and has worked with youth and adults in Atlanta and Memphis. Like her workshops, Chi Ife produces TV/FILM and Live shows that empower, educate, and uplift diverse audiences.
